Frank Ocean is infamously private about his romantic life. And we totally respect that. But recently Frank has been slowly opening up a little more and letting us know more details about his personal life.
The “Chanel” singer sat down to give an interview with Gayletter and in the process revealed that he has been in a serious relationship for the last three years, after being asked if he’s on dating apps.
“I don’t use dating apps,” Frank told the zine. “I’ve been in a relationship for three years. I definitely wasn’t using dating apps before then. I don’t think I would use dating apps now. I fuck with Marc Jacobs’ philosophy on that, so I wouldn’t rule it out, but it is a little hectic being a famous person on dating apps.”
Get it, girl! Frank did not say who his main squeeze currently is but word on the queer street is that Frank’s boyfriend is Memo Guzman. Frank has even name-dropped Memo in his 2017 track “Provider” with the lyric, “Memo finna start acting out if I don’t see him soon.”
This means that Memo is also the subject of the poem Frank wrote and published in his 2016 limited-edition print magazine, Boys Don’t Cry.
We don’t know too much about Memo except that he’s tall, brown and “pretty like a girl” as the lyric in “Chanel” goes. Below are more photos of Memo from his Instagram, which Frank dutifully follows.
