This summer I went to Miami for work and Denys tagged along. It was our first time ever in the steamy nightlife capital so we took the opportunity to spend a weekend there. We spent two nights at a one-bedroom suite in the Viceroy hotel in downtown Miami. The hotel’s interior was designed by Kelly Wearstler, infamous for her unapologetic opulence.
Exhausted from our cross-country flight, we spent the first day lounging around the hotel’s famed infinity pool, drinking “fruit-forward” smoothie-style cocktails, taking in the view of the downtown river walk and ending with a relaxing dinner at their on-site restaurant, Eos.

This cool white speed boat was like right out of Miami Vice.
Denys got thirsty.
Cafe Icon & Bakery is adjacent to the pool.
After an afternoon of poolside relaxation we returned to our suite for a disco nap.

For dinner we opted to eat in Eos’ patio, but here is a photo of what it looks like on the inside.
Cocktails for two.
Grilled Churrasco, spice rubbed skirt steak with basil pesto-roasted fingerling potatoes.
Tiramisu, amaretto gellée and chocolate sticks.
